In March of 2022, we launched our journey towards obtaining a SOC 2 Type II attestation – the gold standard for data security controls and processes. It has been a huge journey, and today, we are excited to announce that our mighty compliance team has achieved the SOC 2 Type II standard, a significant milestone, reaffirming our commitment to our customers and the data we are entrusted with.
This milestone would not have been possible without our partners at Drata, an amazing compliance vendor who’s platform kept the process seamless and fast, and Prescient, our independent auditor.
What is SOC 2 Type II (and why is it different than SOC 2 Type I)?
SOC 2, defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), consists of a series of auditing measures to ensure that service providers securely manage user data and privacy. Deeper Signals’ SOC 2 Type II compliance goes even further, and continuously verifies the commitment we are making to ensure that our business operations and procedures are at the highest level of security, trust, and transparency.
